User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy family and I love Goldren Corral. They have many selection and their fruits and vegetables are awefully fresh and yummy. It always hits the spot. Everyone in the family are totally satisfied with their friendly staff and services.
We used to go to the one in Dayton, OH. Now that we had moved here in the Boston area...there's only one location, Springfield. And it's way to distance away from us. We wish there would be one here in Cambridge, MA or nearby town. It would be worth a trip. I'm telling yah!

My wife and I have eaten there a number of times during the last three months or so once we were told the food was good.
All I can say is that aside from the fact that at times it can get crowded, the variety of food which is served is amazing and the quality is excellent for this type of restaurant.
I may be stretching it a little bit, but we have eaten at a number of the buffets in the casinos in Las Vegas, and frankly the quality of the food at Golden Corral is pretty close;I would be lying if I said the ambience was comparable, but most folks go to a buffet to get good food and plenty of it.
We both have eaten a variety of the types of food served at Golden Corral, and from the appetizers to the main course and side dishes, just about everything is quite good and will bring you back to seconds-it definitely is not a place for dieters to go regularly at least.
The only items which we found mediocre are the soups which taste like they come out of a can-that is the only complaint however.
Comparing the quality of the food at Golden Corral to the other similar style restaurant in ths area, Hometown Buffet, to use a food analogy is like comparing a fine filet of steak served in a fine restaurant to a Whopper at Burger King.
Anyways, we try to g thereo every several weeks or so; the only reason we won't go more often, is that we are both fit and have appropriate weight for our frames and want to keep it that way(I actually eat very little during the day before a trip to this restaurant for obvious reasons lol).
Good luck if you go and bring a hearty appetite-you won't be disappointed!
