Our experience with 1st Moving Corp. was absolutely great. 1st Moving made our lives so much easier. The moving went perfectly well and we are very happy that we were able to get the furniture earlier than expected. We really appreciated the professionalism of 1st moving team. Our movers were outstanding in every sense of the word. I was in the military for almost 2 decades and have moved more times than imaginable. I have never had as good of service in all those moves (military or civilian) as I had with this moving service. I never give out compliments that are not earned but this moving company deserves the highest praise. Gregory.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was looking for movers for 3 weeks and I had a lot of on-site estimates, but I was unable to choose a mover. All big companies were out of my budget and all small ones looked unprofessional. I found 1st Moving Corp. through the internet search, called them and scheduled an estimate. Based on my previous moving experience (terrible), I was very suspicious in selecting a mover.
Arthur showed up in my house in Freehold in the late afternoon ( as scheduled) , made a list of my belongings and gave me 2 proposals : 1-st with packing of all our furniture with moving pads, loading, driving, unloading (but I have to pack all the boxes), 2-nd proposal was for full packing service ( they called it âWhite Gloveâ). Also Arthur provided me with their references list and I called 2 people and asked about their experience with 1st Moving.
After all our searches and estimates, we were considering two or three other companies. However, I can easily say that aside from the price it was the customer service that finalized our decision to use 1st Moving Corp.
I decided to go with Full Packing (after my company approved a price), I was just really lazy to do all packing.
A day before the move 3 guys ( Vlad, Leo and Jacob) came to my house and spent 6 hours packing all my china, dishes, crystal, linens, clothes, electronics etcâ¦. They used about 100 moving boxes, tons of packing paper and bubble wrap. The crew was very careful with our antiques and the packing was done well. Almost everything was packed on that day.
On the day of the move they showed up at 7 am and started loading their truck, by 11 am everything was out and the truck was almost full. We took a break (ate some pizza) and were ready for a 4 hour ride, I was moving to Ashburn VA.
We arrived to Ashburn at 4:30 pm (had to stop on a road, because of kids), movers were there already and start unloading and unpacking, they reassembled all our furniture and set it the way we wanted it (they donât unpack the boxes, except TVâs and wardrobes). Everything was done by 9 pm.
The movers were extremely careful with our things and they did an excellent job. They were also very polite, and the whole process went smoothly. Not one glass broken and not one dent in my furniture.
I would recommend 1st Moving to anyone in my family or any of my friends. I hope when I move back to NJ you guys will come pick me up!
