I can of course not say enough good things about this dog training service. Sit Means Sit is first of all a very reputible Dog Training Company. I was able to find many different online videos, reviews, comments, and several locations right here in Chicago. My two dogs are doing really well. My youngest dog was a little reluctant at first, but now both of them run around so happy, and listen to me the first time. Dog Training Couldn't be more fun! I thought the whole process would be a huge pain, and that I would have to loose some of my dogs personality in order to be dominate them, but we never had to do that in the training. Sit Means Sit makes a rule of not letting you yell, or intimidate your dog. I was extremely impressed with this at the initial demonstration as well. All of the best dog trainers that I've heard of will offer some kind of free demonstration so you will get to see how the training works. The Dog Boarding that they offer me is awesome! Not only do my dogs come home tired after I've been traveling for the weekend, but they get a refresher course as well- so they also come back trained better. My old dog is a good jumper and I've been able to practice some fun agility exercises with him in group class. The group class portion of the package that i purchased takes place mostly outside- which is really nice during the summer months. They also do some indoor classes at a large garage space, Park District classrooms, and a couple other small indoor places like Chicago Grooming Academy. We have unlimited access to the group class which is a great option. We don't go to group as much anymore, because I have enough control now that I can take them pretty much any place you can think of. Before we started training, I can't tell you how many times I went dashing after my oldest dog as he went chasing bunnies! Now it's not such a concern and I have the safety with the training.
