My first comment is to stay away from this dealership. There are too many other dealers in the Middle and Northern Alabama area that are probably better than this one. My wife and I are a Senior couple who wanted to get a Honda Pilot. We communicated at first by e-mail to the dealership about the car. We advised them what we wanted and what we had to trade.They requested our trade's VIN number so that they could research the car. We were advised that they had a Red color vehicle available and that they could make a deal. They gave us the terms and trade which appeared to be okay. HOWEVER, when we arrived at the dealership (85 miles from where we live), we were shown a blue color vehicle and advised that they did not have the color and model on the lot that we wanted. They did consent to GET what we wanted from Tuscaloosa, AL (a decent distance away). Further, we were told that our trade was NOT the model they thought it was, so we would have to come up with some cash in order to close the deal. This hapened even though they were given the VIN number. We reluctantly agreed to the new terms. We were very patient and waited in the showroom while they sent an employee to get the car from Tuscaloosa. This involved a whole lot of waiting in the showroom that ended up with us wasting the majority of the day. After we finally closed the deal and took possession of the long lost car, we finally left for home. After a decent period of time, we had to call the dealership to try to get the registration paperwork. We were told that the paperwork had already been mailed but we never got it. They said they would send another set of paperwork. (We never believed that they sent the first batch because we never got it.) Even further, we were called and told later that they had made a mistake in the contract and would send their representative by car to have us sign another batch. Luckily, there was no change in terms. We needed a trailer towing kit for the new car and we e-mailed their parts department to order the part. After a few days, we got an acknowledgement of our request. However, that was it. In desperation, we e-mailed them to forget it and cancel the request as I would secure the part elsewhere. Having told this long story, I would like to warn any prospective buyer that this dealership seems to be very incompetent. They are not professional and seem have no concern for their customers even though they make an attempt to be personable. They also misrepresent facts since they told us that they had the vehicle we wanted but did not have it when we arrived. Everything is done on their time and they stretch the truth. BE CAREFUL AND STAY AWAY!
