First of all, you have to visit this great little town, and be sure to stop at the library! Anyway, I'd love to give the restaurant 5 stars because of the service, menu choices, HOMEMADE truffle that comes with the check, linen-under-glass table coverings, and general classiness of the place. Our very friendly waitress gave us a taste of the best pumpkin mousse you'll ever try, just as a sample. Also, the prices are very fair. I gave it only 4 stars because my (delicious!) pumpkin soup was only warm, not hot, and because it came with a wrapped package of Saltines instead of something less mundane, like maybe a toasted baguette or something. When we visited, the restaurant had been open for only 3 weeks, although the owners also run a sweet shop in town, so their hours were limited as they were introducing the restaurant in small stages. It's in a lovely old building. The postmaster was lunching there, and he told us some of its history. We will DEFINITELY return to enjoy another lunch -- maybe dinner or breakfast if they expand their hours.
