Well since there is not another Spanish restaurant in Tucson to compare it to I give this a 3/5 for the following reasons. It`s real pricy for the amounts of food in each plate and the location is really not the best etheir. I would not say the service is the fastest in town as well, so if you are going there don`t go starving. Average meal $20 and up, and beer is to expensive (go to the liquor store across and get loaded on the parking lot and than go in).
I’m surprised to see such mixed reviews of Casa Vicente, some people clearly don’t know any other culture but their own or have never been to a restaurant in their lives. No matter what day of the week I recommend having a reservation. This place is Spanish Food, not Mexican (Believe it or not, there is a large body of water between Mexico and Spain for those of you who don’t know anything else but your own culture). The variety of food here is amazing, you could go back several times and never order the same food twice, and the wine was out of this world as the wine list is beyond your expectations. The service is good and speedy, the price is higher than expected but you can’t expect something cheap downtown, with live music performances every night and a great ambiance. I overall rate Casa Vicente 5 out 5 stars and highly recommend it for something different in town.
