The Jumping Place is a full service skydiving center with breathtaking views of the Atlantic coastline. My Tandem skydive was done at sunrise, which cost a little more, but I think it was worth it. The view of the sun coming up over the Atlantice just before we excited the plane was thrilling, not to mention the adrenaline pumping as we got to the door. Mike, my instructor, then put us out of the plane and the thrill of a lifetime was on. After about a minute of heart pumping free fall, we pulled our parachute into safety. The next 5 minutes was a gentle parachute ride to conclude our skydive and we could talk about what just happened. During this time I took in the views of the naval base and Fernandina beach and was thrilled with the relaxing feel after I just had such a heart pumping good time. Our landing was safe and soft, but my interview was a little rushed, because I couldn't calm down. The video turned out excellent, and I suggest The Jumping Place to anyone trying to experience a safe and memorable skydive.
