Dr. Abbasi is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship-trained in interventional pain management. He began his distinguished career in internal medicine at Nassau County Medical Center. From there, he moved on to do a residency at the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. He completed his pain fellowship training at the Portner Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center in Honolulu.  Dr. Abbasi and his staff offer their patients superior clinical care and up-to-date techniques, including special diagnostic procedures such as diagnostic nerve blocks, discograms, fluoroscopy, and electro-diagnostic testing like NCV/EMG.
