My son and I went to Portrait Innovations for some pictures in his USMC Dress Blues following his graduation from Basic Training. He only had 10 days leave, and lots of family and friends that want to spend some of that time with him; in addition to which I work downtown Seattle, so getting an appointment was tricky. This was the second place we tried, and they'd already closed when we arrived the first night. The young ladies opened the door, however, after breifly talking to my son in his uniform as one was leaving, and they let him make an appointment for a few minutes prior to closing the next night.
The studio was clean, the photographers were professional and friendly, offering us great suggestions as well as taking candid shots and offering us some freedom to set our own poses. The finished product captured a lot of the emotion I was feeling (proud as can be, and still somewhat teary & sappy), especially the candid shots taken while we were just talking or hugging.
The prices were reasonable, and we were not hit with heavy-handed sales tactics, or ridiculous "30 photo package" options that contained 22 useless "mini's" that some other studios offer.
I would highly recommend this studio. It offered a great atmosphere, wonderful pictures, and affordable prices for the average family.
