The restaurant is the Old City Plaza Cafe in the Old City Plaza San Clemente (the historic police, fire and jail) located at 111 W. Avenida Palizada (near El Camino and Palizada). It's a little hard to find. The restaurant is open. I understand that it just reopened after a remodel (the building permits are still in the window). I ordered a pancake pizza - it was decilicious! I was a little nervous when it took ten minutes to prepare and the cook couldn't find a pizza slicer. It was a meat lovers style pizza combination bacon, sausage and ham with feta cheese on one of his world famous pancakes! Forget what you have read. He's open, he's doing business and he's creating memories. I shared the pancake pizza with three others and they were amazed.Report AbuseWrite a comment ... -

No indication what their hours are/were, inside was a mess, with blueprints spread over the tables. Either doing a remodel, which no signs were posted, or a new place will be opening soon. It also should be noted, that there are three different business names over the place, a bit of confusion. The website did not indicate hours or days open. Called phone number, which went to voicemail, with default outgoing message, so no indication this place was open or being upgraded.
