The founder of Judo, Jigaro Kano, believed the Olympic sport should promote "Mutual Welfare and Benefit", meaning the success of others can have a direct affect on your own personal success. We, at Ares, believe that you are only as good as the people you train and surround yourself with. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) follows the same vein of train as Judo with emphasis on sparring (randori) rather then the old style of training through form (kata). This martial art prides itself on teaching its students to use leverage and momentum to be able to defeat and bigger and stronger opponent. Ares BJJ Kids, we foster a positive and safe environment for kids to prosper through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo.
