   MoreThe sewing lessons are in my home. Please do not drop in without an appointment. I teach kids ages 9 - 18 how to sew. I have an 8-week beginner class for kids, all supplies are included. I can teach up to 3 students at a time, that is all I have room for. Each class is 2 hours and $40. Kids learn how to use the sewing machine, we have Singer Confidence models, they make a pillow, apron, tote with 2 pockets, and a pair of elastic-waist pants. After the 8-week beginner class, the kids can make a dress and learn new sewing skills. For adults, they start with 4 classes and make a pair of elastic-waist pants, then move on to making a dress. Students can keep sewing as long as they are able, some have been coming here for 5 years. We have fashion shows, free learning events, and we are in the Memorial Day Parade.
