   MoreOur story started when brothers Casey and Cory Culver, with help from their mom, set out to share their enthusiasm for great food. Their early business plan looked something like this: Open a restaurant in the worst economic climate since the Great Depression, locate down the street from the acknowledged New York Yankees of the barbeque world, and don't worry too much about that "lack of experience" thing. Enter a property, a snap decision, and lots of blood, sweat, and tears, and you have the birth of a new pig in town. While we began in the backyard, we now operate a full restaurant on Highway 20. And it's here that guests still enjoy the slow-smoked barbecue and homemade sides the Smokey C's crew has been so proud to serve from the beginning.
