   MoreStreet Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless, unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats in the Philadelphia area. Our goal is to pull as many local animals out of shelters as possible and find them loving forever homes. STAR prides itself on taking in homeless animals that are often "overlooked" by other rescues, usually because of their extensive need for medical attention. Where others see these animals as "unadoptable" or "not worth the effort," we see the animals that need us the most. To us, rescue is about saving a life, and each animal's life, no matter the cost, is worth saving. The costs, however, are great since our animals often require extra time and support, resulting in large medical bills. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to aid these animals in their journey. Every gift brings us a step closer to helping make sure that these animals never feel unwanted or unloved again. STAR's efforts are entirely privately funded.
