Bars and Lounges with Outdoor Patios

One of the reasons I choose to live in Oakland is the great weather! I'm always on the lookout for a bar or lounge that offers outdoor seating and patio area. In Berkeley there are a few but I don't know of many in Oakland. Any ideas out there?

on hengenburger road accross wellsfargo there is a japanesse bar and sushi spot with patio area, also from 2:pm to6pm soporro tall glass is 2bucks
The Forbidden Island is a tiki bar in Alameda. It is great for drinks and has tons of atmosphere, but I haven't tried the food. After a drink like the Missionary's Downfall, you are too full to eat anyway. It is on Lincoln and has a small parking lot in the back by the patio. Check out the website:

I second the Forribben Island in Alameda. They recently got voted top 5 tropical bars on sfgate.com. I find the decorations at Forbidden Island a bit cheesy and Hollywood though.
Pacific Coast Brewing in Oakland. Outdoor patio the beer is very good... the food is ok. Has an outdoor patio and it's pretty quiet and right next to BART.
Tropix on Peidmont Ave, super cute outdoor patio, and good caribbean food.
Flying Fish on Piedmont also has patio out back, and good sushi.
Cesar on Piedmont, cool curbside dining patio, great tapas and wine.
Dona Tomas on Telegraph at 51st, fabulous patio out back, feels like old world Mexico and it matches the yummy food. Great margaritas.
Juniper on Shattuck, patio out back, sometimes live music out there, brewery with pretty good pub food.

Somerset on College has a great patio and good food. Barclays also on College has a patio. Further down College Ave., Khana Peena has a covered patio. I also understand that my favorite Thai place Sabuy Sabuy has a small patio.
On my list of places to try, Sea Salt in Berkeley is supposed to have a large patio and a good happy hour.
The Old Oakland area on 8th & Washington has:Cock-a-Doodle Cafe(back patio),Cafe 817, & Pacific Coast Brewing Company.
Jack London Square has: Boca Nova, Heinold's Bar& Cocina Poblana.
...all good places
I "hella" love Oakland too.
McNally's on College Avenue near Manila has a backyard that is great too. They don't open the backyard up all the time. I've mostly been able to get out there on St. Patrick's day.
Just outside of Oakland in Emeryville, Kitty's has a large outdoor patio too. Owned by the Ruby Room's DJ KItty, this is definitely the place to be in Emeryville.

I don't know of any for sure - but I would check if Luka Taproom or Lanesplitter Pizza has outdoor patio seating.
It's not really a lounge, but I enjoy sitting outside at Filippo Pasteria on College. Lots of foot traffic there so it's a nice place to sit outside and eat.
