Deaf Interpreter Certification Classes

I am looking for sign language classes in the Chicagoland area- downtown to south suburbs. Please help with any info on courses.

Hi Heather, if you find a class in the south suburbs let me know. I'm looking also.
Will do. I did find summer courses at South Suburban College but they are advanced level (level III). And that's the last level before certification. Howver, I am going to inquire about the first 2. Maybe by fall. Ciao :)
Hi Heather, we have a sign class (not certified) but our instructor is. Starting saturday 8/22/09 @ Resurrection House Baptist Church 244 E. 138th St. Chicago, IL. 60827. We are on the corner of 138th/Lincoln. Please feel free to stop in and see if this may help you prepare for your certification classes.

No, it will be a pleasure to have you come join us, do you still have the address? If not we are located 244 E. 138th Street, on the corner of 138th/Lincoln. The name of the church is Resurrection House Baptist Church. This Saturday we are having our back to school Extravaganza from Noon to 6:00pm. Our sign ministry will be minitering as will as praise dancers, a puppet ministry, fun, and we are looking for 100 children to bless with book bags filled with supplies, so please come and join us, this way I can introduce you to our Ministy leader and she will be able to inform you in more detail. I would love to meet you as well, and if you you know of some children that need a blessing please pass the information along. Let me know if I need to keep an eye out for you.
Can anybody come or do we need to call in advance?
