I need to leave Sunnyvale around 5am to go to SFO to catch a 730am intl flight. What's the best and cheapest way to go to the airport? Limousine cost around $60. I'm not sure if Super Shuttle operates at such an early hour but even if they do, it would mean an even earlier pickup time than 5am.
The best way is to call E Z LIMO-- they are very dependable and always before time. I fly out of sfo every month and esp. early morning flights around 5am they always arrive 5 mins before time and they have very clean and comfortable Towncars. I like E Z LIMO because they dont charge me early morning fees like others do and dont even depend on taxis...they never show up
according to me the best way to go to sfo is Taxi palo alto........i stay in palo alto,First i decided to go in my car but suddenly i changed my decision and called taxi palo alto and i got service within 15 mts of my call ..........i was glad and really appreciate there services.whenever i need a cab i always call 650-322-9999 and the cab is always on time.highly recommended.
I would not risk calling any random cab company. who knows if there going to show up. I always call Yellow Cab Taxi Service at (408) 627-3666. They are always ontime and they have the lowest rates for the service they provide. I would not take a limo because if u ask the rate on the phone they will say around 50-60 dollars but when u get there they will include tip, gratuity, door opening fees....etc. That is why i just call Yellow Cab since the past 2 years.
Taxi Service is good to go to the Airport. But Coming back use other transportation service. Tax will cost you double or even triple of what you pay going to the Airport.
Hmmm. Michael - time for moderators?

I did that, actually! Just wondered if you'd added a pre-emptive ability the way the Groups have.
And to put this back on topic - depending on how much you're carrying, CalTrain to BART?

If you can't find someone to drive you to the airport, a cab it probably your best bet. Order the cab the night before and allow at least an extra 30 minutes. If they are not there 5 minutes after your requested time, call again. And when you call to reserve, ask what the cost will be.
