Card Shop

Can anyone recommend a local card shop that has more interesting/artistic notecards than the typical Hallmark shop?

The Paper Chase at 861 Santa Cruz Ave. in MP has unusual stuff, as does the store in the Stanford Shopping Center acrosss from Macy's. (Sorry, don't recall the name.)

Try Goodsage on Laurel Ave in San Carlos. Very nice and different styles of cards than you'd ever find at a Hallmark. Very nice owners and folks who work there also.
The car wash on El Camino in San Carlos had a wide variety of greeting cards.
They are better than any Hallmark store or drug store or mall store on the Peninsula.

There's a Papyrus store on Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame that has beautiful stuff. Also check etsy.com for interesting hand made paper items. That's a website for all things hand made, and there are some really interesting, unusual and/or beautiful things you can find from people all over the world - including here.
