If you are looking for Chinese, Mandarin Gourmet (Santa Theresa) is GREAT!
If you are looking for sushi then Sushi Mania on Branham is GREAT too!
I am wondering if there are any fine Chinese dining around in this area? I tried PF Chang in Oakridge mall once. Pretty nice deco, service and food.
My wife and I enjoy going to Thai Elephant Express. It's in the strip mall at the corner of Lexann and King. I have a special order for my Pad Thai (no veggies), and they have done it well each time we've gone there. Here's the y! local link for it:

There is great Italian Restaurant around this area. Cross street is Yerba Buena and Silver Creek road in the plaza. Pasta Pomodoro. There is Cold Stone and also Radio Shack!

Mexican: Mexico Lindo (Cherry/Foxworthy)or Baja Fresh
Pizza: Giorgio's/Frankie Johnny and Luigi's (various)
Italian: Gallo's on Blossom Hill around Leigh (try the raviolis)
Sushi: Sushi Masa(?) (Camden/Kooser)
Steak: any Outback steakhouse
Quick Chinese: Panda Express
BBQ: Blue Rock BBQ on Meridian/Foxworthy (super yummy)

A REAL GOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT WILL HAVE TO BE GOLDEN BUDDAH'S ON ABORN AND WHITE....THEY SERVE A LOT TOO!!
Mexican: Chevy's, Taco Bell
Italian: Pasta Pomodoro.
Pizza: California Pizza Kitchen(in Oakridge Mall, try the tiramisu and the choclate banana cake)
Steak/BBQ: Black Angus
Outback sucks.
Other good places include El Burro (Mexican, in the Pruneyard) and Buca Di Beppo(Italian, also in the pruneyard and in the Oakridge Mall) Marie Calendars, Ihop, oh, don't forget PF Changs for Chinese, Benihanas and Kyoto palace(in the pruneyard) for Teppan style, TGI Fridays, Cheesecake factory(also in Oakridge), There's also a little place called Chef Mings for chinese. There are so many good places to eat around here. Do some exploring as well.

Most all places mentioned above are great places...if you like a family setting and a fun evening on week-ends there's mex Kareoke Mexican food. The food is great nice sit down pleasant place to spend the evening in a cozy booth. Trust me I'll see you there. Oh it's called "The Violin" corner of Curtner and Monterey Rd.
I went to this Thai restaurant - Hanuman Thai Cuisine - Food Delivery - in downtown San Jose. I food was great as was the ambiance. You might struggle to find parking on Friday night. But surely worth a visit.

Thank you for the input Joy. I really appreciate it. I my request on yahoo was to find any resutaurant supply store which sells large frying pans.The type on would find in large hotel or restaurants. I need something larger then 12 inches.
I have eaten in Pollo Loco and I love the way they cook their chicken. You are correct, it's deliscious.

I would recommend Angelos Italian Restaurant & for Italian food and Falafel Drive in for Middle Eastern food.
One of my all time favorites is Sonoma Chicken Coop on the corner of Almaden Expwy and McAbee. Nice patio for the Summer time and music in the evenings on weekends I believe
Cheesecake Factory an PF Chang's in Oakridge. Also Sushi Mania off Branham lane!
Theres a korean restaurant at the Lucky's by the In-N-Out on blossom hill. There is a $20 combo meal perfect for 2 people. Good korean food and side dishes and you get ice cream at the end (self-serve).
Golden Garden Restaurant at 1375 Blossom Hill Rd, it's a very good one.
oooh they do have great cashew chicken and chicken salad.yummo.for breakfast you can always try the cardinal coffee shop or flame has good diner food too.

The Sweet Tomatoes on Bernal Rd is a good one as well.
