I'm sending my husband and a few of his friends down to Charleston for the weekend for his 30th birthday. I wanted to rent them a nice boat to hangout on for the weekend. Does anyone know of a nice marina that rents boats besides pontoon boats?

Try calling the Charleston Yacht Club, The Marina Varity Store(its a restaurant, laundry place etc. for boaters right next door to the Charleston Yacht Club. I know that somewhere around that area they rent a boat with a captain and hostess so they would have to do nothing but fish, be in the sun or hang out. I do believe they wouldn't have to worry about food or cleaning up because it's all included. They would be served meals, drinks, etc and all they would have to do is enjoy the ocean. Also, in Mt. Pleasant there is Shem Creek which has wonderful restaurants, shrimp boats, kayaking etc. Calling any place on the creek might lead you to a rent a boat place.
Sorry, but that's all the info I can think of... Oh, you might try any business on Folly Beach for a lead or any marina listed in Charleston or Isle of Palms.
Good Luck and by the way that is a very generous, wonderful idea. You must love him a lot.
