need a hall to rent for a x-mas party this Sat (20thDec)

I am desperately trying to look for a place to hold a little Christmas party for my ex-school mates of about 20 and their families this Sat. and can't think straight right now. Am willing to go anywhere between Mountain View and Redwood City..so if anyone knows anywhere we can hire a place for about 4hours that would be great. We are having a potluck and so any restaurants are out of the question..please call me at 650-921-0502 as you know that time is a crunch..thanks heaps! Onetta Harris was not available coz that's where I originally booked..

Good idea, Kimo. Also worth trying upscale health clubs (eg, Pacific Athletic Club), libraries, and parks. Also parks such as Twin Pines park in Belmont rent out buildings.

Have you tried golf courses? Most golf courses have facilities for small to large groups. Emerald Hills Golf Course and Lodge in Redwood City and Mariners in Foster City come to mind. These are smaller courses, so I assume their rental rates might be inline for what you might want to pay.

Also, you may want to look into hotels in your area. Most hotels have small meeting rooms to accommodate a group of your size.
