I have dental insurance. At my visit, Dr. Bracco’s receptionist verified that my 4 fillings will be covered at 80% by my insurance, which was fine with me. Dr. Bracco worked on my 4 cavities. He did ask me if I wanted him to use the white composite fillings versus silver amalgam fillings, I selected the white. When I went to the receptionist desk to pay my 20% non- covered amount, I was told right then, I had to pay the 100% full amount, because my dental coverage does not cover the white fillings. I was mad and felt deceived that Dr. Bracco did not explain to tell me the white fillings would not be covered by my dental insurance. He never told me I had that option!
