If the ice cream machine isn't broken (very hit or miss) you will have slow service and mediocre food. This is the case at every DQ I have been to.

Update - Under new ownership and the place is being remodeled. I also noticed that the employees were more concerned with actually waiting on customers. This could turn into a really nice DQ.
