I was treated very well when I bought my junior and my senior prom dresses at Corwin's. I was also a lot younger and never knew how to appreciate quality customer service.
THIS IS THE BEST STORE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!
Shopping for bridal was a totally new experience and I want to share what happened with any bride that will listen. Trying to find the perfect dress was a big hassle.
I went to Bella Donna, House of Fashion and David's Bridal in Sacramento and Suzanne's, J and S and Corwin's in Chico. I must have tried on at least 40 wedding gowns. I just went crazy because I wanted my dress to be even better than I have wanted it to be since I was a little girl.
I had found the dress I thought might be "PERFECT!" at House of Fashion, but decided I still needed to check Chico. I always forget about downtown, probably because I am lazy and hate to look for parking. Not only did I find a spot at the door, which must be Karma, but I found the same dress I had seen in Sacramento, for $320 LESS. By the way, House of Fashion hides the label that tells you who makes the dress so you can't compare prices. Corwin's Bridal was not only less money, but there were no hidden labels and they also let us take all the pictures we wanted. They price match, but I found that they were also less than House of Brides in one dress I liked and less than Suzanne's for bridesmaids.
This store has been around for around 50 years and the people who work there are really caring and very warm. Try to have Korey help you, she has been there a long time and is very good. I was just there today because I needed to get some earirngs and she remembered my name and it has been over a year since I've gotten married! (Maybe it is because I tried on half the store! ( LOLl!!!)
Skip David's Bridal $99 gown sale. I heard it is a ruse to get you in the store and I went and wasted time. They hardly have any $99 gowns and what they have you probably don't want AND if you did, plan on $300 for alterations.
