My husband and I recently purchased a brand new home built by this company and we wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We can't wait to move out of this house where everything seems to break and the warranties are not honored. For example, a couple months after we moved in, the guest bathroom tiles broke. Supposedly we had a year to create our "fix-it list". I e-mailed Four Star Realty (the realty company that B&B used to sell our house) and stated that the tiles were broken. It took them over 7 months to actually fix the tiles. We had 2 house calls where a worker came to examine the tiles, but nothing was done until the year was almost up. During our wait, the new oven broke, our master shower cracked in 2 spots, the guest shower/tub was on the verge of cracking, the drywall cracked around EVERY SINGLE WINDOW (that they wouldn't fix), the kitchen counter cracked and the corner seams became uneven, the yard started eroding so bad that we will now likely have to haul in dirt to prevent a pond from being formed in our backyard (as does currently when it rains), our living room electrical switches started malfunctioning, the doorbell broke (which is strange because it is rarely used to begin with), all the tile grout cracked and chipped, and we noticed that the interior doors don't match! There is a plethera of other problems that we have with this "new" house including the fact that the sewage pump (if it was even installed at all - as we were told before we bought the house, but which was in all likelihood a lie) broke and the air conditioner broke. Not only does this construction company fail to install quality products in their houses, but the fixes don't come swiftly and only after a lot of time and effort has been given on the buyer's end. They don't even develop the raw land properly! Beware of rain clouds because it doesn't take a flood to saturate the floors in these homes. Even the basic porch supports are not installed correctly. Pay extra attention to the guy inspecting your new home. BRING YOUR OWN LEVEL AND CAMERA, otherwise you'll get the same mickey mouse inspection we got. Look at the serial numbers on all appliances installed because they are probably bottom line, and replacement parts are not available or outdated (as was our experience with appliances gone bad). We will NEVER buy another house from these guys again!
