This is a beautiful treasure! The white sands, the clear warm waters of Buzzards Bay. I have been going to this beach for 40 years and although people have changed, this beach hasn't. Local residents think they own the beach. But they don't! I saw one big party of people with toddlers/kids actually wait until the lifeguards left so they can have a barbecue with alcohol included. -Should have reported this to the police. With the exception of this, this is a jem of a beach. The sun sets right in front of your eyes. Only a handful of beaches on Cape Cod can claim to that. Parking is $20 a day! Yikes! If you are a non resident, best time to go is between 3:30-3:45PM. This is when the parking lot attendatns leave the second parking lot- the non-residential parking lot. Parents, beware if your kid(s) play ball near me and sand gets kicked on any part of my body, I will trip your kid!
