Oh maaaaaaaaaan! If you love ocean fresh fish hot off the grill, the coldest drinks around, and prompt friendly smiling service, then this is THE place to go on the strip. My crew and I were in Orange Beach on business and stopped in for dinner. Courtney the bartender convinced us to have the $7.99 All-You-Can-Eat fish special complete with your choice of homemade potato salad, french fries, or new potatoes, golden brown hush puppies, and Gulf Coast cole slaw. The fish served is called broad head and has a grouper-like texture, color, and flavor. I have to tell you, that was some of the BEST fish I've had in a long long long time. The light batter and succulent white meat set my taste buds to singing. There is only one person that cooks better fish. A friend of mine in Dothan, AL and he catches and cooks his own off of Panama City, FL. One of these days I'll get that secret dredge recipe' from him too ;). If you're up for some of the best casual dining on the coast, and love fresh fish I strongly recommend you drop by The Shrimp Basket and try this sumptuous special. Tell them Dutch sent you.
