At first sight, this place looks charming; an old, yet beautiful, stone building. Unfortunately, the inside hasn't been updated and is a bit uncomfortable. There were quite a few spider webs at face level in the wall. Yuck.
The menu was extremely limited. My date ordered shrimp and scallop scampi. I ordered the crab cake. Quite honestly, the shrimp and scallop scampi was terrible. If I would have prepared it at home, I would have thrown it out without eating it. The crab cake was interesting - 1/2 pound of crab meat cooked in butter and black pepper. It wasn't what you might think of as a typical crab cake. Decent, maybe a 6 out of 10.
The appetizer we chose were steamed clams. They were very good. The food was overpriced (even if the dishes were very good, I think they should have still been priced in the teens).
Final verdict - this place is not worth visiting. I'd avoid it if possible.
