I had never been to this donut shop until today but I was up all night with insomnia and decided I might as well give up trying to sleep and go get a donut. I looked this place up on the internet and found the way there on probably one of the coldest mornings ever in Alameda. I saw a lady come out with a couple of huge boxes full of donuts and from the look of the tray when I went it, I thought, "daggone, I've missed out on all the good ones". I asked the owner for a glazed twist and he went into the back and brought me out a warm twist. He had a wonderful smile and he must have made those donuts with love because that was one of the best donuts I've ever had in this city. I WILL be a regular customer and I highly recommend his wonderful donuts!
