I once bought a package of bratwurst, and noticed they had already been opened once I got home. I returned them. The next day I went back because I still needed the bratwursts, and found the EXACT same package back on the shelf! I hunted down a manager and gave him the package and told him how wrong I thought this situation was. He told me that it is against health codes to place returned and opened cold foods back on the shelf. I went back the next day and found the same bratwursts on the shelf, and also saw a employee returning a cart full of cold and dry foods back to the shelves. I am so angry that they don't use common sense about food safety. I don't understand why WalMart feels like they have to sell every item whether its unsafe or not, its pure greed.
