I've eaten here twice recently, both times for lunch, once for buffet and once for carryout. Both times, my opinion was the same: The food is great, but the service and employees are downright horrible, at least it was for me. I woner if it was because I'm a non-regular and out-of-towner. Let me elaborate.

Both times, when you walk in, you won't be greeted and will have to wait a couple minutes to be acknowledged. While eating, a lady walked by and put my ticket on the table without a word, never offering a tea refill or even to ask how I was doing. The buffet is a "one trip buffet," which is posted on top of the buffet and behind it on a board. I understood the "X-tra meat, x-tra dessert, etc." Or at least I thought I did. I got an extra dessert on purpose, but I wasn't aware that two scoops of THE SAME meat counts as "x-tra meat," cause all the other one-trip buffets I've been to, you can get as much of anything you want, you just can't take more than one trip without paying extra. I told the lady this when I was finished and she made me pay up, and was very rude in telling me, "All we can do is put up the signs, we can't put the signs ON the food. Most people know that two scoops is extra."

But I loved the food, so I went back and had a carryout country fried steak plate. Again, the food was very good, no complaints there at all, nor of the prices, but I had to stand at the counter for about two minutes, even though it wasn't busy at all, before being checked out, then I wasn't greeted or thanked for my business. All the blonde lady said was the price, then handed me my change with no more words.

Rudest employees I've ever experienced at any restaurant in my life. And for that reason, I give it the lowest rating and will never return there, even though I love their food.
