i had to lower my rating by 1 star due to a recent dinner.
we'd expect the food to be the same or better in the evening since that's normally when the kitchen is staffed by the head chef, top staff, etc.
the biggest disappointment was the "curried soup". it was thin & watery, with not much chicken or dumplings and had way too much cumin. a far cry from the same great soup we had at lunch in the beginning of June. how this got past the chef is odd.
the mussels in white wine were very tasty but had TOO much garlic, which catches up to u later. the addition of 'niocise' olives was great.
the 'steak salad' simply was NOT tasty. even extra dressing didn't help. again this was a big winner at lunch.
the stuffed chicken breast was pretty good ($16), guyere cheese the best part. potatoes were ok also. the vegetables seemed like an afterthought. the kitchen over used bell peppers in the dishes.
LUNCH WAS BETTER & less expensive.
