I've been to Sully's twice and was disappointed both times, primarily with the service. The first time I was virtually ignored by the wait staff. So I stayed out of the place for years. Today I was on jury duty, so I had to find lunch downtown; I decided to try Sully's again. I ordered the gyro platter ($7.50--gyro, salad, and cajun fries), and the waitress said, "That's on special today." "OK" I said, thinking I'd save a bit. The meal came without any salad. I ate wondering if perhaps I'd been mistaken that salad was included, so when she brought my bill I asked to see a menu, and there it was--salad. I asked her, "Why didn't I get a salad?" She said "That's not included on the special." I said, "I wish you'd told me that when you changed my order to the special." "She offered to bring me a salad "to go" anyway, but I declined. Normally I tip 20-25% . . . but not this time . . . and I won't be going back to Sully's until I totally forget about this SECOND bad experience there.
