I am from down state New york. I have lived in Schenectady for 19 years I grew up on the bread from Vita-Rich their pizza was the best in the world. When I married and moved away I thought about missing their pizza and across the street was a great Italian pastry shop where my father would take us there every Sunday, for spumoni and Lemon Ice, We always bought a rum cake from Civitello's. I was back there recently and I can't believe it Civitello's was still there Vita Rich is gone that was sad... but there was Civitello's and nothing changed they were fun girls to talk to they told us all the new things that happen and they were funny together... I ended up buying a lot more then I thought. I am bringing my friend a piece of my past...they are now selling pizza almost like Vita Rich Ithought that I would die I eat a piece there then bought five more for home , change my day to leave back home and ordered a full pizza to take back to NY.. I come back up now every month and it is great. Civitello's lunch is the best ever... their bread is great too so I order 5 loaves everytime and I freeze them the bread for some reason stay fresh for 3 days... I am brings my friends up in Dec. I love Civitello's Thank you for still being there....
