Me and a group of friends went to Adrenaline for a "piercing party". One of my friend was noticeably nervous and uncertain about whether or not she wanted her tongue pierced. The staff there was very pushy and inconsiderate, telling her to "JUST DO IT!'. This atmosphere doesn't help calm a person's nerves. Then, one of the guy asked her to stick out her tongue and remarked that her tongue "probably was too short" but decided they would pierce it anyway! Luckily, everything healed correctly.

However, I got my nipples pierced. After 3 months....6 months...a year I was pretty shocked at the fact that they still hadn't properly healed. I went to Exotix in Brick, a much more professional studio. I originally wanted to go there however, their one AMAZING guy there happened to be on vacation at the time. I was told that my nipple hadn't healed (after an entire year) because they were pierced at a gauge much bigger than they should have been. Now I have misshapen nipples and scar tissue.

Just beware.
