The best thing I can say for this place is that the staff was very friendly and attentive. Obviously, it is a chain, but the food is over-salted and over-buttered. Few vegetarian options and the portabella raviolis are not good at all. I wish this restaurant would quit making Americans think that this is real Italian cooking.

sooooooooooo good! I scarfed down my pad thai while my guest had the red coconut curry with pork -- also delicious. Fried spring rolls come with a great sauce. Nice, family-owned atmoshere with quick service. Good menu for vegetarians.

Great atmosphere! Wide age range of patrons but many young professionals and college kids. The musicians are absolutely amazing. Service is also good. Next time I'm in Kalamazoo, this will definitely be where I hang out.
Amazing! Quality over quantity. Walnut and cranberry French toast has great texture and taste, although I didn't need the huge scoop of butter that comes with it. Eggs benedict with spinach and portabella has really good flavor, and the spinach is not overwhelming. Pancakes are good. The "fresh baked" croissants are unfortunately not worth ordering if you've ever had an authentic French version. Casual, warm atmosphere with friendly service.

I definitely recommend this great restaurant but was sad to hear they might be closing (due to retirement) at the end of the year! The artichoke hearts appetizer, antipasta plate, and lobster were all great. The cheeses on the antipasta were the best of the plate. Most desserts are homemade; I'm not usually a fan of tiramasu but theirs was very good! The lemoncello comes with a cute little lemon zest swirl. Intimate atmosphere and attentive service.
