On October 10th we brought our two dogs, Dakota and Jasper, to Camp Bow Wow for a one overnight stay. We had used Camp Bow Wow before in the past and we were pleased with their services. When we picked up our dogs Sunday afternoon, we had no idea on what problems were to follow us. Jasper and Dakota fell ill by Wednesday evening. Brought them in to see the veterinarian and found out that Jasper and Dakota, along with our 11 week old puppy (which was not at Camp Bow Wow but with family), had a viral infection along with flees. When we called Camp Bow Wow to let them know of our situation we were assumed to be liars and they wanted to talk to our veterinarian which we had no problem handing that information over. We received our return call from Camp Bow Wow saying there was no way that our dogs received the viral infection or the flees from their facility. Funny how our veterinarian stated otherwise. I will not recommend this facility to anyone I know due to the heartache it has cause my husband and I, along with our pet family.
