Delicious, fresh food in a friendly, casual setting. The Elderhostel group I was with in August dined at Maria's for every lunch and dinner over four days. I can't eat any dairy at all--so George, the chef, fixed me fantastic meals using olive oil and his Greek spices. Somehow he managed to take care of me while at the same time feeding our sizeable group, plus the other restaurant patrons. George offered to fix anything I wanted, but it was more fun to see what he would come up with! The waitresses made us all feel like family. Someone told me that Maria's is one of the few places which stays open year-round. I can see why the local folks "vote with their wallets" for Maria's all year long!
