we had our wedding reception here and i would not recommend this place to any one. the event cordinator here needs to be fired. the night before our wedding we were informed that the event cordinator was not even going to be working during our wedding reception. they left it up to the wait staff to cordinate our wedding reception. what was the point of us meeting with the event cordinator and telling him how we wanted things done for our reception, when he wasn't going to be working that day. he failed to inform the wait staff how things were suppose to be set up. they waited 2 hours before the reception started to decorate and get tables set up and ready. several of our guests complained about the service of the employees there.
we had problems with this place months before the reception. first they failed to inform us up front that there would be 18 percent gratuity added to the food bill. a day before the wedding we were also informed that there would be gratuity added on each can of pop served to our guests and we were informed that we had to pay sales tax on top of what we had already paid for the dance floor and room rental. when we asked how much to rent the dance floor and club rooms we were told $800 total there was never any mention of the sales tax that had to be payed at the end of the wedding reception. same thing with the food and soda.
the event coordinator here does not know what the hell he is doing. when we complained to the event cordinator about all this, he said we are the only people to ever complain. well i find this hard to believe, maybe thats because everyone else just payed the bill with out asking why there were added fees that they didn't know about.
the only good thing here was the club rooms were nice and the food was good. i regret having my wedding reception here, not worth all the money i spent here. disappointing. this place needs to get a new event cordinator that knows how to do his job.
