We had opportunity to stay at this KOA campground this past weekend with family (August 2009), and had a wonderful time! The RV section was filled, which told us this was a good place to stay. (The RV's I know can be picky ablut where they stay.)
Our family stayed in several of the log cabins in the campground. The cabins were Cute, Clean and Comfortable! There was a hanging swing on each porch, a fan in each cabin, along with a small desk and chair. You must bring your own bedding, but I'd rather sleep on my own sheets anyway. Each cabin had an outdoor grill and picnic table. A ssuggestion: take more camping chairs if there will be many of you!
The showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained, the grounds were well cared for. We saw plenty of shady areas, and I liked the kitchen pavilion, which we didn't use, but it looked clean and user friendly. Reminder: bring your own cookware, utensils, etc.
We played a round of miniature golf with the kids and grandkids, and the kids played in the pool (lots of chairs there so we could sit and watch them!) and in the large playground.
The staff were gracious and friendly, just Nice people to deal with. They have a little convience store at the campground which we found clean and well stocked for the items we forgot or needed more of (like ice).
We recommend this KOA to everyone. A nice, clean, quiet place to stay, whether you have an RV, travel trailer, tent, or use one of their cute cabins to sleep in.
