I love this place! Friendly is right - they're really nice, really helpful, and fast. I've used them for oil changes, state inspections, and tire service, in addition to the usual gas pumping, and I've never been anything but super-satisfied. The guy who does most of the auto servicing is always running around like crazy because they do the inspections for all of the local auto dealerships, so they're usually busy, but he's really efficient and quick nonetheless. A tip: if you have some time flexibility, try to hit them on an off-time (ie not lunchtime or right after work) and you may be able to get right in without having to wait at all, although the wait is never that long.

In my experience, an honest auto service place is hard to come by, but I'm glad that I've found Fred's because I feel like I can trust them to do the job right and not try to upsell me a bunch of unnecessary services (which is usually the case with other places when they see a young woman coming through the door). I feel confident recommending Fred's Friendly Sunoco to all of my friends and family.
