Don't be fooled: The scorecard will tell you this course isn't long. That doesn't mean it's easy. Lots of elevated greens, tricky doglegs, and challenging approach angles. The new clubhouse is in great shape, but the course looks a little beat up. The main problem I ran into seemingly again and again was the collars around the greens. There was little grass and lots of sand making what should be an easy chip or even putt unpredictable at best. All in all I enjoyed my round at Bicknell. Oh yah..... save a little umph for the 18th.
