On a recent trip from Connecticut to Ogunquit, Maine, we had a minor emergency requiring us to get off the main highway. The first eatery that we passed after that was this place, about which we knew absolutely nothing. On a whim we decided to have lunch, and were very pleasantly surprised! The lunch buffet, loaded with tasties, was generous and made for a fast, filling meal. A real standout was the soup, which was delicious and in fact became more so with each spoonful. The biggest surprise was the delightful view of a small lake directly behind the restaurant. What could have been a lackluster quick bite turned into a lovely, relaxing meal... and the best surprise was the check, which was more than reasonable. I would stop here again in a heartbeat!
