The positives include a comfortable bed, large rooms, and lots of unexpected amenities. The rooms have refridgerators, microwaves, and a cooktop. They are also well decorated and equipped with plates and silverware. The bathroom is large, has a jetted tub, and double sinks. Interestingly enough, there was no bidet. The hotel is all non-smoking and does not have a casino. We expected it to be a quiet get-away when we came back from a night on the town.
For the negatives, the Trump is located off the vegas strip near several strip clubs. It is not safe to walk to the strip at night.
It is also located near the train tracks. A train comes by every morning around 5 am with the horn blowing. We were staying on the 38th floor. There is absolutely no sound proofing at all. The train horn woke us up every morning at 5 am. We could also hear the people in the room next to us when they arrived or left.
This is suppose to be a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately, they use a 1 star toilet paper that is about a 120 grit sand paper. It is great for removing varnish but not very good for anything else.
My recommendation is to consider the Wynn or Encore rather than staying at the Trump.

I have bowled on a league here for quite awhile. The people who work here are extremely nice. Unfortunately, the management is not. They schedule multiple leagues on the same lanes, the same night, at times that overlap. When you finish your league game, they send open bowlers to your lanes before league bowling has ended. If you are a league bowler, check out the other bowling centers in the area. They will not even allow the waitresses to provide ice water to league bowlers. You have to use a faucet that only provides warm water.

The best pizza in Orange County California. If you love New York style pizza, you will like the pizza at NY Upper Crust. It is difficult to find good pizza in SoCal, but this is the closest you will find to a good NY-style pizza. No place else is better. If you like Chicago-style pizza, you will need to visit Uno's Chicago Grill in San Diego.

Good brew, okay food, mediocre pizza. It is hard to find good pizza in California. Well, you will not find it here. The pizza is mediocre at best. You will be better off going to Pizza Hut. I would recommed New York Upper Crust Pizza over this place.

Absolutely horrible pizza. BJ's claims to have Chicago-style pizza. Well, I do not even think they know where Chicago is. They serve pizza with less toppings than Pizza Hut. The beer is good, but the pizza is not worth the trouble to chew it.
