Dealing with Brandsmart, sunrise Florida has been the worst experience I've had at a store. First, I received a portable DVD player for my child for christmas-(an Etec brand-which by the way is no good). I used the DVD some months later for one month then it stopped working. Went to the store on sept 24th they helped me get it exchanged even though I did not have the receipt - no problem. Took the "new" one home and it had the same problem -"disc error". I returned to the store two weeks later to exchange this one, but was told the model in the box is DIFFERENT from the box. I told them they gave it that way to me, but of course they would not believe me and treated me like a thief. I tried and tried but they would not budge, I was told to call corporate or Etec-that didn't work. We finally went into the store to see the store manager, was pushed around by rude staff until finally we tracked him down and explained the situation. He was very firm that all products are checked, blah, blah but he finally decided to exchange the DVD for us. I hope he believed us that the mistake-if it was a mistake was from his store or maybe there are unscrupulous people working in the store, while an honest, paying customer is treated like a thief.
The loading dock is outside where they can do anything-so please if you have to make purchases at that store be sure to CAREFULLY check everything and do not assume you are getting what you pay for.
