Great place to hang out if your a teenager with friends, and also perfect for family. Definitly recommend that if you are a resident of Connecticut get a season pass, it costs about $70 which pays for itself if you use it twice. I go here all the time with friends, probably around 8 times a summer. Free soda is awesome! I also suggest going here in october when they run the haunted graveyard. This attraction is great particularly for children who are bewteen ages 8-15, any younger it will probably be too scary, any older you probably won't be scared, and if you've already gone one year, it's not worth it going again b/c almost nothing changes. I personally love to go on October nights just for the atmosphere, there are side shows like a guy juggling fire and magic shows, plus the staff gets together and tries to scare you at random moments in the park. Plus the place is full of fog from fog machines and because it is cool at night it's very comfortable whether. The only real negative thing I would have to say is that if you are a big thrill seeker Lake Compounce doesn't have too much. It's got one loop roller coaster, a ride called downtime (pretty scary in my opinion), and of course boulder dash which is not scary at all but tons of fun because it goes soooo fast. I also suggest going on thunder and lighting which is the parks newest attraction. Also if your a history buff Lake Compounce has the oldest wooden roller coaster in the U.S...maybe the world, I'm not sure, but it was the parks big attraction when it was built in the 1890's. Also for any skee ball champions such as myself you could win a $50 gas card if you score 600 pts...I was able to do it however DO NOT get addicted.
