the prices are outrageous
since when does a pear cost $1.09 ea
the meat is high priced with miminal selection
the fish is stocked once a week and get it monday or tuesday...otherwise it stinks
i have gotten rotten milk,1/2 &1/2,chocolate milk,slimely meat that they redated and put for quick sale,gushy sticky green beans and deli meats and cheeses that tasted of chemicals from not rinsing off the sanitizer/soap off the slicers.
recently i bought some eggs there and without changing the way i cook them...they seem off.very rubbery and weird like they are old or something...are they from Mexico too?
i gave them another chance and same thing.also i beat some eggs to make a sponge cake and the volume just never reached it's usual peak,even though my bowl was fat free and i wipe it out with vinegar to make certain.
one more thing... they only want to sell two chickens in a bag at $10.00 or more.i cook for two and the dino-chix they are selling are nasty and tough.i use 2 1/2#lb chickens fresh in food service they are tender ,meaty and are always good...why cannot the grocery stores sell good chicken??????
