This is regarding a bad customer services from the new manger Mr. Kevin at this location, 3626 Irving Mall, Irving, TX.
After trying so many Freshlook brand enhanced colors at the next door eye doctor, my daughter picked Sterling Gray contact lenses from Freshlook and placed an order at this Eyemaster location. Remember these were just enhanced color with no real power. When I picked up the lenses they were plain gray not sterling gray (enhanced). Few days later I took them back and asked for the correct order. The manger confirmed the wrong order and took the lenses back and told me once he received the correct color lenses he will call me back. Since it wasn't needed as a prescription lenses for my daughter we didn't pay much attention neither we received any call from the store.
Last week I went there to ask about the lenses, unfortunately I met with Mr. Kevin the worst salesman/manager I have ever met in my life. He was very unprofessional, far from customer relations, no knowledge of his work, out dated in his eyewear knowledge, mean and rude. He told me that the manager I talked to before, is gone and he is the new manager. I told him the whole story, but he never believed me. He looked around and says he doesn’t see any lenses here. Also he said since I have returned the lenses Eyemaster have issued me a credit. I asked him to show me the credit to my account he said he can’t see this but the account shows a $0 balance. I told him the balance is $0 because I paid for the lenses. Then he brought the book and showed me that Freshlook don’t make enhanced Sterling Gray. I insisted that my daughter tried all the enhanced colors at Dr. Nguyen office and he wrote the prescription for Sterling Gray of Freshlook brand. But he never believed me keep saying Sterling Gray don’t come in Freshlook. He also suggested if I pay today for the new lenses he can get them in store in 5 to 6 days. At that point I said I am not going to pay because I already have paid and I also have returned the lenses. He said he is not going to give me these lenses for free. And I said it is not free, I paid for it. For proving me a liar and not believing me I was keep arguing him because he was wrong and didn’t have the needed knowledge to talk to me.
Finally he asked me to leave the store. I asked him to tell me if tomorrow there will be a different manager; I would rather come tomorrow and talk to the other manager than I deal with him. He didn’t give me manager’s name or number, keeps saying you leave my store or I’ll call the security. I told him if I leave now it will not solve the problem. Tell me the name of the manager and let me know if there would be a different manager tomorrow? He never gave me that information except keep asking me to leave the store or he will call the cops. Luckily there was also a female associate there. I asked her and she told me yes, tomorrow there will be a different manager at the shop. I left the store and plan to go to the next door doctor next day to confirm and get a copy of the Freshlook sterling gray prescription. Before I left the store I told Mr. Kevin that I am going to write a review about him on Internet, but it seemed to me he never cared for that.
The next morning I received a call from the store manager Ms. Nadine she told me that she got a note from the employees about yesterday’s argument between me and Mr. Kevin. She apologized to me and told me that she found the lenses and she is going to order Sterling Gray lenses for my daughter as they do come in Freshlook brand. Not only that she replaced the correct lenses for my daughter she also asked me if I like to have a box of free lenses for my daughter?
I hope that Mr. Kevin will learn a lot from this incident. He argued with me for the stuffs he had no knowledge of. He irritated me for his behavior. He threatened me to calling cops and security on me because I was not accepting his lame excuses.
