My family and I went to Fuzzy Bear Campground in the summer of 2008 and everyone there that I came across was very friendly. they had bands play there on weekends. The owner was in a band also. It is called The Blind Crippled And Crazy. It was not music that I really cared for but my mom and grandma liked it, so they both bought a wooden plaque with the bands named carved into it and the band members signed the plaques for my mom and grandma. Mostly older country music is what they played. The prices for staying were cheap. the owners were very nice people and they had a real good deal on wood for the campfire. $5.00 for a overloaded wheelbarrow full of a variety of different logs and access to as much starting brush as you needed.
We also met some people who lived closer near where we lived and became friends with them. They also have showers which you can use whenever you want while you are there and there bathrooms are very clean. Pets are allowed. there are not very many rules to this campground compared to a lot of other campgrounds. There was only one problems but I dismiss it because the owners took care of it immediately. There ground wasps, but only in a small little location. The last thing there is to say is that they sprayed stuff for the mosquitoes near nighttime.
