I had no idea until recently that they served food. I thought it was strictly a tavern/pub type deal. Whoever owns this place (and the one in Portland) should consider some extra marketing. The food we ordered was fabulous. The chowder I had was outstanding. Atmosphere was good; there was a blues band playing by the front door. My only complaint was that the band was right beside the main door, making it difficult to get in and out or get to the bar. A few people were dancing in that space too, making it chaotic and cramped. Wish they would move the band away from the door! We weren't able to see the back outside area (deck? Patio?) due to rain. Looked like smokers had taken it over, and we are anti-smoking, so that wouldn't have been an option anyway. I thought the mug thing above the bar (bartender explained it to me) was neat.
